Dynasty Flag Football has a zero tolerance policy for violations of our player/parent/coach Code of Conduct. Parents/guardians must agree to this code of conduct upon registration:
As a Player: *I am accountable for the results of my behavior toward my teammate, coaches, and game officials *I will respect my teammates, opponents, coaches, parents and officials at all times. *I will honor the sport by playing within the rules and not using foul language *I agree to put forth my best effort on the field and in the classroom and display behavior on the field consistent with the league values of good sportsmanship and teamwork. I understand that failure to do so may result in disciplinary action including not being able to participate in one or more games.
As a Parent: *I agree to support our team in a positive manner and showcase good sportsmanship *I will respect the coaches and not interfere with on field instruction during practices and games or use inappropriate/profane language at any time *I will address my concerns with the coach/league director in a private and positive manner *I will cheer for our team in a positive manner regardless of the outcome of the game *I will refrain from engaging, harassing and/or criticizing the officials *I will not attend league games, practices, programs or events if I have been convicted of a sexual offense *By signing this form, I will honor the Player/Parent Code of Conduct and will accept any disciplinary action, including being removed from the field, that comes from violating these policies
As a Coach: *I agree to conduct myself in a positive manner toward players, coaches, parents and officials at all times. *I will remember that kids register to play football because it is fun. Every child should have the opportunity to play. *I will support and respect all decisions made by the game officials and refrain from outward criticism. *I am responsible to understand the rules of the game and abide by those rules and the judgement and/or human error of the officials and league director. *I will create a safe, positive and supervised-at-all-times environment for my players to learn how to play the sport. *I will encourage my players to play to the best of their ability and conduct themselves in a positive manner. *I agree that all of my correspondence and interaction with players, parents, other coaches, league administrators and officials will only contain appropriate language and will be in the spirit of an inclusive culture that does not single anyone out for poor, or exceptional performance. *By signing this form, I will honor the Coaching Code of Conduct and will accept any disciplinary action that comes from violating these policies. Two parental or league complaints are grounds for replacement as a coach.
Violations of the code of conduct by any coach, parent or player will result in a warning followed by an ejection from the area of play. Refusal to comply will result in police notification.
I UNDERSTAND THAT IF I FEEL COMPELLED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ANY MATTER OTHER THAN PHYSICAL SAFETY OR PLAYER SPORTSMANSHIP, I WILL WAIT UNTIL THE MONDAY AFTER THE GAME AND EMAIL THE LEAGUE DIRECTOR. I WILL NOT APPROACH OTHER COACHES, PARENTS OR LEAGUE ADMINISTRATORS TO DISCUSS THESE MATTERS.
